Looking at the fact that the basic price of vehicles continues to rise every year, it’s no wonder why the pre-owned segment of the industry shows signs of flourishing growth. With the price of new RV’s being what they are, the analogy can be made that buying a used RV is a viable option also.

Even if we pay no attention to the reduced cost of buying a used RV, there is still another advantage you should think about.

Probably the biggest benefit other than the price is that it is far less of an investment to waste than if you were to purchase a brand new RV off the dealer’s lot. In other words, this benefit definitely applies to that “first-time” buyer. If you have never owned an RV before, this is a far less costly way to decide whether or not the RV lifestyle is for you.

If you have definitely decided on purchasing a used RV versus a new one, then you should probably put in some due diligence and do a little bit of research. The most important part of the purchasing process involves the decision-making aspect — ask yourself what kind of used RV you want to purchase and what type will suit your needs.

Once you have your outdoor and vacationing style pinned down, you can better answer that question. Keep in mind that you can find an RV in nearly any shape or size and that some don’t even require you to drive.

You should learn about what types of motorhome options are available. If you are buying a Class A or C motorhome, you have the option of gas or diesel engine. This is important to know before you buy.

Even if you don’t want to drive such a large motorhome, you can still enjoy RV’ing with a camper trailer, travel trailer, or the other RV’s that are towable. With the internet, you can really cut down your research time and make your decisions much more quickly.

If you want to keep yourself from having a ton of trouble and expense down the road, you should hire a mechanic that knows his RV’s and get him to inspect the prospective purchase.

Even if you were buying a regular car, this would be a smart move. With an RV, it is even more important.

If you need to finance your purchase, you should investigate the options offered. You can find good financing plans even if you don’t have the best credit. Check out the choices offered by the town banks, the used car dealership, a credit union, or savings and loans.

The main thing you want to research is the cost of that loan. Finance charges and interest rates always vary regardless of where the prime-lending rate is sitting.

As a final step toward protecting your investment, you should buy an extended warranty. This is due to the fact that the warranties that originally cover used or new RV’s are almost never enough. You should extend the warranty for two reasons. One, it just makes sense to guard yourself from having to pay for expensive repairs. Two, you can profit from it financially later on in life.

The term “wholesale” has taken on a variety of definitions and meanings over the years. Wholesaling involves the sale of goods and/or merchandise to business, commercial, industrial, institutional, retailers, or wholesale entities.

A wholesaler provides goods that are pulled together, ranked, and put into bulk lots (large amounts) at a manufacturer’s place. These items will be broken down into smaller lots that will then be sent out to the types of buyers we talked about earlier. You can also use wholesale to indicate a person who is a middleman or broker to get goods for these entities.

One of the most common myths is that wholesale means lower prices through a discount. This is not always true. While prices are usually lower when the items are sold to the retailer than when they are sold to the regular buyer, the idea of discounting implies that the price was lowered from its selling price at the point of purchase at retail value. An RV wholesaler operates a little differently.

The RV wholesaler works with a manufacturer and tries to get the lowest price possible for the RV so that these savings can be passed on to the buyer. Each RV wholesaler will offer a different price range.

RV wholesalers are also in business to make sure you get the right RV for your requirements. In Tucson, AZ, the RV wholesale business of Pedata RV offers some of the best in the business. They will even help you design the RV just how you want it to appear, all while keeping you within the budget and goals you originally set. Even if you’re nowhere near Tucson, you can shop at Pedata’s online site.

If you buy from an RV wholesaler, you will have many more options as far as the number of RV’s offered. You can also realize a savings of up to a thousand dollars. The motto of Pedata RV is, “Don’t make a $10,000 mistake” because they try to help you save as much as possible.

Usually, you can get such a good price because an RV wholesaler does not markup the price of the RV to get a larger profit like so many regular dealerships do.

You can also keep away from the stressful bargaining about price when you use the services of an RV wholesaler. The price is already at its lowest point, and you’ll know you aren’t being cheated. Pedata can even let you see the motorhome’s MSRP and then show you their price.

Depending on what model you’re shopping for, you could save as much as $10,000, and not be making a $10,000 mistake by purchasing your RV at a different dealership.

Finally, the RV wholesaler can help you save money on the financing end of the purchase as well. Certain lenders have finance packages that are specifically designed for RV loans, and the wholesaler seeks out these lenders in order to be able to offer the best financing possible to the prospective buyer. Loans designed for RV purchases have terms that are more flexible than what you would find at a bank or credit union.

For those of you who are considering buying a Class A motorhome, there are many variables of which you should be aware. Generally, recreational vehicles are known as Class A, B, or C because of the construction and size of the RV. To describe things as succinctly as possible, a Class A is the type of motorhome that boasts the biggest space, the best luxury, and the highest price. A Class B motorhome is comparable to a fancy van with a higher roof. The average Class C is a smaller sibling of the Class A with several other modifications, like the cab-over styling and the smaller body.

Class A motorhomes are usually constructed on one of three types of chassis:

A commercial bus chassis

A commercial van chassis

? a specially designed recreational vehicle chassis

Running anywhere from 25-45 feet in length, the Class A motorhome is the biggest one of the three classes. Typically, all motorhomes come with beds, dining and food prep areas, and storage areas.

Class A’s have gotten even more luxurious in recent years in that some come equipped with satellite TV, full refrigerators, and even what is called a master bedroom. They even have been known to come with full bath facilities as well. Awnings, internet access, and multiple slide-outs are becoming quite common, also.

As far as the price tag, a Class A motorhome can run you about $50,000. You can spend as much as you like on the Class A, with the expensive Class A’s totaling between $100,000 and $600,000. However, a designer made a custom RV in 2006 which cost 2.5 million dollars. The amenities included a built-in treadmill, fancy carpeting and furniture, and marble floors. The average cost is around $100,000.

Bus conversions, are also usually thought of as Class A motorhome. As suggested by the name, these RV’s are made from a commercial bus that was turned into a motorhome. These can be the largest of motorhomes, and they are often very roomy and have lavish accommodations.

As far as living space goes, the Class A motorhome offers plenty and can provide additional feet if you take advantage of slide-out offerings. Many RV’s like this have enough space to let 5 or 6 people sleep in them without crowding. You will also probably find a full kitchen and bath for convenience. Class A motorhomes also typically include different floorplans that you can choose from so that your RV will be perfect for you.

Class A motorhomes are also known as motor coaches. Some of the amenities were already mentioned above, but in addition to these, washers and dryers are available, as well as full size ranges and microwaves in the kitchen area. They can be designed with hardwood cabinets and flooring, have carpeting and tile, and to top it off, they can even have designer upholstered furniture installed if you so desire.

If you will want your RV capable of towing your car or boat, you should buy a Class A motorhome. You will certainly agree with the common name for this type of motorhome: a home on wheels.

For many years camping has been a pastime. Even if they’ve never done it, everyone knows what camping is all about. But the chances that they will never go are very slim. Even people who don’t like the outdoors so much can find safety and comfort in taking a recreational rv vehicle. These machines are helping non-campers everywhere wish they wanted to camp.

Fun Travels Anywhere

The fact that a traveler can go just about anywhere and bring their home with them is the great thing about having a recreational RV vehicle. RVs are packed with great features, including a kitchenette, a bathroom, a bedroom, and even a living room where riders can watch TV. They are built for safety and most big brands have been around for a long time, so a customer can expect the quality and confidence experience can give. But don’t forget about the most important part; fun. RV means recreational vehicle for a reason.

All these awesome features can be driven anywhere! All around the world RVs are used to enjoy camping or site-seeing. Before I was born, my family used one to travel everywhere. Vacationing becomes a breeze when driving a recreational RV vehicle. Even if campers like the great outdoors and the wonderful roughing-it feeling of camping, there can be love in their hearts for one of these great machines.

A recreational RV vehicle allows users to enjoy the outside as long as they want until they’re ready for some inside experience like they’d have at home. Television can be enjoyed as well as a good night’s rest on a comfortable bed. Until they’re ready to use it, adventurers can store all their active gear underneath the vehicle. As well as a fun vehicle to ride in, a recreational RV vehicle makes for a terrific mode of transportation.

A family lshould look into buying or even renting a recreational RV vehicle if camping is a favorite pastime. For those with multi-opinionated family members, it’s a must-have. Some may love camping and others may hate it, so with an RV the whole family can enjoy time together with everyone happy. For anyone that is craving adventure or just getting out of the house, a recreational RV vehicle is definitely a worth while investment. With one of these fun machines, the road is the limit.

Travelers can save money on gasoline by replacing the air in their vehicle’s and RV’s tires with nitrogen gas. They can also save money on gas in their every day driving as well. Research has shown that drivers can improve their gas mileage by over three percent when they use nitrogen in their vehicle’s tires..

This is not new technology as it has been used for a number of years by commercial airlines as well as in NASCAR cars. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mandates that nitrogen be used in all commercial aircraft tires to eliminate the possibility of water vapor freezing at high altitudes which happens with air filled tires. And NASCAR teams use nitrogen gas in the tires of their racing cars because the tire pressure varies less than it does with air.

How can using nitrogen gas in your vehicle’s tires save you a lot of money?

First of all, you do not need to buy new tires to make the change, your present tires will be fine. By using nitrogen gas in your tires you can improve your vehicle’s fuel efficiency and save a lot of money in the process. Nitrogen in your tires also improves your vehicle’s handling and extends the life of your tires so you will have to replace them less often. There is no question that in this era of record high gasoline prices you will reap significant savings on all your driving for many years to come.

How can using nitrogen gas, in your vehicle’s tires also improve our environment?

By using nitrogen gas instead of air in you vehicle’s tires, it will help to better maintain proper tire air pressure. This optimizes tire road contact which reduces tire/road resistance. Because of this, the fuel economy is increased and less exhaust emissions enter into the atmosphere. You might say that by going green you are also saving green, greenbacks, that is.

How can you do your part to help America’s economy reduce its dependence on foreign oil?

Current research shows that if every driver in the United States replaced the air in each of their vehicle’s tires with nitrogen gas, they would improve their gas mileage by over three percent. This translates into a whopping saving of almost four trillion gallons of gasoline per year!

For more information and research data on the growing use of nitrogen gas in motor vehicles’ tires including those of commercial carriers, visit Get Nitrogen at their website, GetNitrogen.org. In addition to the research, you will find a growing list of registered dealers located in the United States and Canada that can replace the air in your tires with nitrogen.

Here are a few important points on how you can save fuel and at the same time lessen green house gas emissions by not driving on under inflated tires, whether you’re using air or nitrogen gas in them.

Firstly, check your vehicle owner’s manual for the optimum tire pressure.

Use a tire gauge to accurately measure tire pressure. A visual tire inspection is not reliable.

It’s best to measure tire air pressure when they’re cold. You should wait approximately three hours for the air inside your tires to cool down before measuring the tire pressure.

Lastly, and probably the most important, check the air pressure in your vehicle’s tires at least once a month.
